I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
